Project overview
The Gurudwara commission centred on the darbar hall and surrounding complex. White Makrana marble — chosen for its symbolic purity in Sikh tradition — was used throughout in large polished slabs that reflect the golden light of the Palki Sahib (the throne of the Guru Granth Sahib). CNC-carved railings frame the upper gallery perimeter, and the staircase features a continuous hand-inlaid gold-toned border running its full length.
Gurudwara · Punjab, IndiaThe sarovar (sacred pool) lining required specialist waterproofing-primer work before marble installation — 240 individual marble pieces were cut, fitted, and hand-polished to achieve the seamless finish. The darbar hall ceiling perimeter received a carved marble cornice detail matching motifs used historically in Sikh sacred architecture.
