Carved by Makrana is a luxury marble craft house located in Makrana, Rajasthan, India—the world-renowned quarrying village that supplied the pure white stone for the Taj Mahal, the Victoria Memorial, and hundreds of Rajput palaces across the subcontinent. For generations, our master artisans have practiced the ancient subtractive art of marble carving, transforming raw geological mass into enduring functional sculpture.
We offer an extensive range of bespoke Makrana marble products for residential, commercial, and hospitality clients worldwide. Our portfolio includes hand-carved marble fireplaces, indoor and outdoor marble fountains, vessel and undermount marble washbasins, bespoke home temples (Mandirs), Mughal-style marble Jali screens, Pietra Dura marble inlay work, and 3D carved marble wallpanels.
All commissions are designed in close collaboration with the client, quarried from albeta grade Makrana stone (98% calcite purity, near-zero water absorption), carved by hereditary master craftsmen in our Makrana workshop, and shipped with full export documentation to clients in the UAE, UK, USA, Europe, and Southeast Asia. We are an authoritative alternative to Italian marble products, offering the same—or superior—geological quality with the added dimension of hundreds of years of Indian craft heritage.
